The agency was responsible for the City of Surrey’s logo and tagline. The old logo contained a graphic of a beaver and the positioning statement “City of Parks”. While the City of Parks resonated with residents, it did not speak as well to regional, national and international investors and companies looking to expand or relocate to the City. The new logo depicts a balance between new urban architecture and green space as the City has significant land mass and agricultural areas. The new positioning statement “The Future Lives Here” is an apt description of a growing, exciting youthful city that Surrey has become. The project included a significant amount of time consulting with focus groups and stakeholders to reach the successful conclusion.
