Surrey Food Bank

Thornley’s latest work with the Food Bank involves giving a fresh new look and migrating its content from Drupal to WordPress.

New content management has allowed the Food Bank staffs the greatest flexibility in easily adding content, and managing various community events. Content has been reorganized to be readily accessible and special care has been given to the donation process in order to provide the most secure and streamlined experience to donors.

City of Duncan Logo

New website for the City of Duncan has been designed with the residents, businesses, and visitors in mind; a number of City services have been centralized in order to provide easy access to citizens, such as City’s Issue Reporting Form where residents can easily submit concerns or complaints, and the “Duncan Road Ranger” which informs general public of any impending city projects that may affect traffic. It is user-friendly, fully responsive accommodating many screen sizes, and accessible to wide range of people with disabilities by the terms outlined by WCAG 2.0.

The website now serves as an effective vehicle to communicate with all of their stake holders.

Learning by Design Wordmark

Surrey School District currently has the largest student enrolment in British Columbia and is one of the few growing districts in the province. It is governed by a publicly elected board of seven trustees.

Learning by Design is a district-wide shared vision for learning where School District prepare their learners for a world in which they think creatively and critically, communicate skillfully, and demonstrate care for self and other.

Thornley has been asked to develop a website where educators share their visions for the new curriculum through Learning by Design.

Prince Rupert Airport Logo

Prince Rupert Airport is situated on a 686.78 hectare parcel of land which is located on the north west side of Digby Island. It is the gateway to all that BC’s Northwest Coast offers: breathtaking scenery, business opportunities, fishing, wilderness recreation, culture and history.

Thornley was invited to redesign YPR’s website while the airport has finished its upgrades and renovations. New website focuses on improving user experience and usability across multiple platforms.
